With a tagline of "Family, Love, and Nature", the festival will feature 132 films in total over 11 days. Sections include a Family Section, a "Korea-Japan Film Academy Retrospective", a section devoted to Chinese cinema, a Lasse Hallstrom retrospective, human dramas starring Robin Williams, midnight screenings, a section on contemporary Korean cinema, and a free Open Cinema section.
Don't Tell PaPa tells the story of a third-rate DJ who finds his relationship with his young son rapidly deteriorating. The Keyweck-shidae production is scheduled for a local release on September 3.
Daejeon is located about an hour and a half south of Seoul, and is known for its science and technology industries.
